Faith-Filled Explorations: Ages and Stages and Tools for Teaching

Join your webinar host Dawn Rundman as we explore how faith can be nurtured right from the start in the young children you care for in your setting. Using brain research, social science findings, and educational best practices, Dawn will provide plenty of ideas for weaving faith into your daily time with the children in your care. She’ll also recommend tools for teaching, including early childhood curriculum, toys and manipulatives, and simple songs.

Dawn Rundman holds a Ph.D. in Developmental Psychology and is Director of Congregational Development and Marketing at 1517 Media, the publishing ministry of the ELCA. She has developed more than 20,000 pages of curriculum and Bibles for children, youth, and families in her 22 years at the publisher. She also writes and speaks about early childhood faith formation and authored “Little Steps, Big Faith: How the Science of Early Childhood Can Help You Grow Your Child’s Faith.” Dawn loves connecting with early childhood care professionals like you to affirm the brain-changing work that you do. She lives in the Twin Cities with her husband Jonathan and they have two launching-in-progress young adult children.
